That’s a huge convenience as most of us are charging 2 or 3 devices each night, a phone, a smartwatch, and a pair of earbuds and a good charging station is able to do all three without any tangling cords or mountain of bricks. A good one will also ensure that you keep your devices safe for longer, as the charging process is consistent and controlled properly, as opposed to a cheap charger that produces uneven or overcharging.
To determine which stations actually work, I tested each one as my main charger for 10 to 20 days, rotating between an iPhone 17 Pro, Apple Watch Ultra 3, AirPods Pro 3 and a Galaxy S24 so I could test it all with a variety of devices. I will say Belkin UltraCharge Pro is the best. It is the only charger I tried where I didn’t have to mess with anything in the middle of night. It’s the magnetic snap that makes this so easy. The magnetism is so great that even if a person is half asleep and blind, they can usually place the phone correctly without fail, just as they would with a charger that required precise alignment. After being my primary nightstand charger for 16 consecutive days, I have never had to deal with a situation where I didn’t have a fully charged phone to go to work the following morning on the UltraCharge Pro.
The real strength lies in its performance when putting it under stress. The phone got a steady 15W, even when all three devices were charging simultaneously, a feature not all 3 in 1 chargers could pull off without slowing down. If I put on just the phone or the phone and watch at the same time, the numbers don’t differ that much, meaning the power management system must be well designed, not just being marketed that way. The only weak point I came to was when the device was covered in a thicker case, such as a MagSafe wallet case, which increased the surface temperature just a few degrees above the bare phone but not enough to be of concern or to cause any thermal throttling.
This one will work best for anyone fully committed to the Apple ecosystem who wants to set and forget it, when it comes to charging. Not the lowest price here, but after 3 weeks of daily use, it’s the charger that I can trust the most and that reliability is worth the price.

This one is not on the list because of anything else other than the fact that it is just so awesome. This is the only station that I’d ever consider in a garage, on a boat or on a workbench where dust, splashes and the occasional knock is part of everyday life. I have been carrying the XDS3 around mainly as a desk powered charger and, I can assure you, the rubberized overmolded case will not crack if it falls off a shelf.
There is no magnetic snap to place with NOCO XGrid XDS3 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Stand, which changes the whole experience from the Belkin or Nomad because it is not Qi2 certified. The charging speed wasn’t negatively affected, either. It was able to reach a steady 15W on the phone when all three slots were full and the non slip rubberized base meant it didn’t slide around during the test when I accidentally bumped the desk, two other chargers in this test did. The only problem was that it did not perform very well when it came to using it while you were sleeping or while driving. I thought that because you don’t have magnetic alignment, it’s really a question of luck when you put it in the dark, and for me there were a few mornings that I didn’t get any charge at all, because it just moved a little bit off the coil overnight.
For those with more of a workshop than a bedroom setup, NOCO XGrid XDS3 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Stand is the one to have. This is not the quickest or the slickest charger on the list, but it’s by far the toughest.

The aluminum base and glass charging surface are CNC-machined and look and feel premium in reality, not just in the pics and stayed that way through 3 weeks of everyday use.
It stands apart from all other devices on this list in performance. After all 3 devices were loaded, my phone hit 20% in 30 min and 80% in 1 hour with 10 to 15 minutes of headway over all other stations in this test. Heat management also performed well, even with all three slots fully charged overnight, the surface was not so hot to the touch. The compromises I felt were the size and price. It’s the widest of the five stations assessed, which isn’t ideal for a small nightstand and also only a moderate price for someone who wants to splurge.
Nomad Stand One Max is a good deal for Apple enthusiasts who are willing to pay for a high end centerpiece for their desks. This is not a budget recommendation but if you’re looking for the top performing charger on this list, then this is it.

Anker‘s inclusion here is solely due to price considerations. It’s not the quickest or the prettiest in this bunch, but after 12 days for daily use, it never disappoints me and it’s a lot cheaper than both the Belkin and the Nomad. It’s this reliability and affordability that’s what put it on this list.
I took the Anker MagGo wireless charging stand with me almost like everywhere because its fold flat design is the most striking feature for daily convenience. The only charger I really took on a weekend trip with is this one as the others are just too bulky to warrant suitcase space. Charging a single device at a time achieved the full 15W consistently, and was nearly identical to the more expensive devices. But I feel that when I put the full three devices in, it was loaded. The watch charging puck sometimes trickled charged when the phone and buds were plugged in and I observed it took almost 40 minutes longer to get to a 50% charge with the phone and buds plugged into it as well.
It is a great value for buyers who want the magnetic convenience of Qi2 but are not prepared to spend a ton of money. Don’t count on perfect three device speeds all the time.

It is the station I would really recommend to anybody working for a small desk or does not have a lot of room for a night stand. Its flat design and low profile fit it into spaces that the taller stands from Belkin and Nomad would not. It was tested over 10 days and its low profile design just fit in the space where the taller stands from Belkin and Nomad would not. When space is limited in the desks, this can be the deciding factor.
Satechi Qi2 Trio Wireless Charging Pad is the least obtrusive of all chargers in this test due to its flat design. I was able to get it into a shallow drawer-top nightstand without having to make it look like I had something out of place or cluttered. A feature that none of the standing nightstands could accomplish. Single device charging speeds were identical to those of Belkin, running an impressive 10 mph, which was a pleasant surprise in light of the compact size of the unit. The compromise is for placement accuracy. The flat design makes it more important to position the AirPods case where charging is going to take place, and I sometimes needed to push the case to get it to start charging correctly. It also charged approximately 2 to 3W slower with charging three devices simultaneously on the phone than it did when charging one device alone.
This is a must have for anyone in need of the real speed of Qi2 without the bulkiness of a desktop or nightstand.
Quick Verdict: The most compact choice here is compact and fast but has some slight quirks of placement.
After two months of using all five of these stations with a 1 month rotation, the conclusion is clear: Qi2 certification isn’t a market tactic, every charging station that had it charged faster and more consistently than the one that did not.
