LG’s 2026 TV lineup is a bigger overhaul than we usually see from the brand. The South Korean tech giant is swinging with one of its most ambitious TV releases in years in 2026. The 2026 lineup of LG TVs includes something to appeal to all kinds of viewers, gamers, and home cinema fans with the dazzling bright G6 flagship and the return of the W6 Wallpaper OLED, a design LG shelved years ago, and an all-new category of displays called Micro RGB evo.
If you’re upgrading a 2023 or 2024 model, you want to buy your first premium OLED or you just need to make sense of all these model numbers, this is the only guide you need.
We should know what changes LG has made at the base level before we dissect each one of the models. Three changes run across the whole 2026 range:
Starting Price: $2,499
The LG G6 is the flagship of LG 2026. It has the second-generation Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 OLED panel, a four-layer display with a maximum brightness of about 4,500 nits, 3.9 times greater than a standard OLED TV. That is what we call a generation jump.
LG sells this under the name Hyper Radiant Color Technology, you notice it right away. The brightness of highlights is as intense as it is in the most expensive Mini LED models, and the intensity of shadows is the deepest black that only OLED can achieve. LG has also introduced the Reflection Free Premium coating on 55, 65, 77, and 83 inch models and reduced the amount of screen glare by approximately half as compared to the G5 of last year, a huge victory in the bright living rooms.
To top it all, LG has been twice certified by UL Solutions, Perfect Black (black levels of 0.24 nit to 500 lux) and Perfect Color (color consistency of over 99 percent to 500 lux). LG didn’t claim them for marketing purposes only, but they are the standards that are independently verified.
The G6 is built like a dream come true to gamers. It supports 4K gaming at 165Hz with VRR, NVIDIA G-SYNC, AMD FreeSync Premium and 0.1ms pixel response time.
In 2026, LG is adding native 4K/120fps cloud gaming by Nvidia GeForce Now, along with Bluetooth Ultra Low Latency (ULL) of wireless controller latency to only 1ms, a feature that was missing from the 2025 lineup. It also includes Dolby Atmos FlexConnect that allows the sound to be wirelessly paired with surround sound by the TV.
Who should buy G6? All home cinema enthusiasts, hard-core gamers and those who want the best OLED image that money can afford. This is the solution in case you are putting it up in a sunny living room.
Starting Price: $1,399
The C-series is the most popular OLED sold by LG every year and in 2026 it deserves that crown more than ever. LG has also introduced Tandem WOLED panel technology to the C-series (with one significant exception) the 77″ and 83″ C6 models are the only two to include the upgraded Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 panel with Hyper Radiant Color Technology. The 42”, 48”, 55” and 65” models are powered by the older generation OLED display, which remains terrific, but is not going to experience the same significant rise in brightness.
The C6 will also be available in a new 42″ size, the ideal bedroom, smaller apartment, or any person who wants the best OLED in a smaller size. All sizes have Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, AI Sound Pro, and the entire webOS 26 experience. The Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3, with 4K at 165Hz and NVIDIA G-SYNC, AMD FreeSync, ALLM, and native GeForce Now 4K/120 cloud gaming, is available on all C6 models.
When it comes down to choosing between the 65” C6 and the 65” G6, there is no greater truth that the G6 is brighter and has a better panel, but the 65 C6 is one of the best 65 inch televisions on the market at an incredibly lower price.
Who should buy the C6? Most people. It sits at the compromise of the performance, features, and value among the 2026 models. Choose the 77″ or 83″ model in case you desire the full upgrade to Tandem OLED.

The W6 is back making a statement. LG has re-introduced its classic Wallpaper TV design with the W6, after a long break of several years, and this time it is indeed wireless. The TV panel is only 9mm deep which fits against the wall completely, showing no visible gap. All processing and connectivity is contained in a separately placed Zero Connect Box (35% smaller than the previous generation) which transmits visually lossless 4K audio and video wirelessly over a distance of up to 10 meters.
The W6 is also powered by the same Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 OLED panel as the G6 but it also provides the flagship level of picture quality in what appears to be a piece of wall art. The TV is positioned in the Ultra-premium segment and is only available in 77” and 83” sizes. But the W6 is not just about screen size or specifications. Its biggest strength is the design, a TV that fits in with modern interior design, and virtually disappears into the background when not in use.
Who is the W6 to be sold to? Design conscious customers, high end home decorations and every one who cannot allow a TV set to take up too much space in his living room.
Starting price: $11,999
The largest wild card in the 2026 LG is not an OLED. The Micro RGB evo series presents essentially new display technology, replacing the white LED backlight of traditional LCD TVs with the much smaller RGB LEDs, red, green, and blue individually, to provide much more accurate color and contrast.
The outcome is a TV that simultaneously supports 100% color accuracy in BT.2020, DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB, a triple color certification that no other LCD TV has ever reached. LG has also borrowed light control technology used in OLED technology so as to enhance contrast performance. The Micro RGB evo comes in 100-inch sizes, and is LG’s response to the giant screen market where OLED panels are not yet cost effective at scale.
This is a large-installation, boardroom, home theater luxury product, and is designed to satisfy buyers who require gigantically large screens and reference-quality color performance. To the majority of buyers it is beyond their reach, but it is a pointer as to where high-end LCD technology is going.
The LG TVs of 2026 are all using webOS 26, and it is not merely a version number upgrade. The headline features are Google Gemini, an AI voice query and content discovery engine; and Microsoft Copilot as an in-built feature in the TV interface, where you can ask questions about what you are watching, or can ask the device to give you suggestions in natural language.
LG has also made Homey (a smart home platform it acquired) part of webOS 26, and it supports Matter with Thread, Apple Home and AirPlay, Google Cast (Chromecast), and Zigbee as well, turning these TVs into a smart home hub themselves.
One aspect to keep in mind even with all the upgrades, the 2026 lineup of LG lacks HDMI 2.2 and Dolby Vision 2. To a majority of the viewers, this will not be a concern.

The LG 2026 line is the most complete and technically impressive LG has ever assembled. The G6 breaks new frontiers in OLED brightness, the C6 introduces Tandem panel technology to the mainstream first, the W6 shows you what a TV can be in your living room, and the Micro RGB evo provides new buyers of big-screen TVs with a brand-new category.
But when it comes to the most overall value, the C6 in 77” or 83” will include the entire Tandem OLED upgrade at a price that, though high-end, will not cost you a second mortgage. The G6, specifically the 65″ or 77″ is the model that you will get the best period of time with.
The W6 is in a league of its own, should you desire something that stops every guest in his or her footpath. And you be in your first step into OLED, it will transform your TV watching experience in every possible way. There have been plenty of causes, but 2026 could be the year the whole machine LG feels like it’s firing on all cylinders.
