RTX Spark was announced officially on Sunday, May 31, 2026, ahead of the Computex 2026 opening during Jensen Huang’s keynote speech at GTC Taipei 2026. The announcement is the result of Nvidia’s greatest entry into the consumer PC space with its announcement of an AI-first computing platform for the coming generation of laptops and desktops.

According to Nvidia, RTX Spark is “the most efficient PC chip ever built”. Bringing together CPU, GPU, memory and AI acceleration within a single architecture optimized for a wide variety of tasks including gaming, content creation, software development, and local AI agents. The platform will be available for commercial use via large PC vendors such as Dell, HP, Asus, Lenovo, MSI, Acer and Microsoft.

An Era of AI Desktops Begins.

Based on Nvidia’s innovative N1 and N1X architectures, RTX Spark is an Arm-based platform incorporating CPU and GPU technologies into a single SoC design. According to the manufacturer, the system is capable of delivering better power efficiency and low latency through combining processing workload to a single highly optimized platform. As Nvidia stated, with RTX Spark High Performance Computing would be possible without compromising battery life and portability which is inherent to today’s thin and light devices.

The flagship edition is reportedly to come with up to 20 cores of CPU cores, up to 6,144 CUDA GPU cores and up to 128GB of unified LPDDR5X memory. Specifically, RTX Spark is claimed to offer similar performance results to RTX 5070-class mobile GPUs in some use-cases thus enabling high-end gaming, 3D rendering, video editing and AI-powered content creation.

Additionally, unified memory architecture increases benefits for creators by enabling access to common memory resources when processing huge data sets, AI models and executing creative projects. As a result, capabilities for video production, animation, machine learning and real-time rendering are greatly enhanced.
